Newest Version of Cloud-based Suite Adds SLA Tracking, Customer-Defined Subject Areas and Microsoft Word Integration

CONCORD, MASS. – June 13, 2016 – ProcessUnity, a leading provider of cloud-based applications for risk and compliance management, today unveiled its Summer 2016 Release. The release includes new features and enhancements across 38 key application areas designed to further reduce administrative tasks and maximize overall program and user effectiveness for Third-Party Risk Management, Policy and Procedure Management, Product and Service Offer Management and other GRC disciplines.

Highlights of ProcessUnity’s Summer 2016 Release include:

  • Service-Level Agreements (SLAs) and Metrics Tracking – The Summer 2016 Release introduces new capabilities that allow customers to track the performance of various entities, including vendors for Third-Party Risk Management and clients/plans for Offer Management. ProcessUnity allows customers to create a standard library of SLAs and apply them to specific entities. Data can be collected on a scheduled basis or via client import. ProcessUnity’s workflow automatically compares metrics against client-defined tolerance levels and notifies stakeholders when thresholds are crossed. The system provides facilities to assign, track and manage penalties based on SLA exceptions.
  • Customer-Defined Subject Areas – Organizations with unique processes and/or parallel risk and compliance initiatives can take advantage of ProcessUnity’s Customer-Defined Subject Areas to quickly and easily implement solutions based on their specific requirements. Customer-Defined Subject Areas are completely configurable by business users and leverage ProcessUnity’s powerful workflow and reporting capabilities.
  • Microsoft Word Connector – Direct integration to Microsoft Word helps organizations streamline management and regulatory reporting. Customers can create Word document templates and easily incorporate ProcessUnity data using functionality similar to mail merge. Organizations leverage Word integration to create welcome letters, statements of services, third-party contracts, assessment summaries, management reports and documentation to support regulatory reviews.
  • Third-Party Risk Management Enhancements – The Summer 2016 Release includes a number of enhancements to ProcessUnity’s Third-Party Risk Management solution. Customers gain the ability to send special instructions or templates to vendors via questionnaire attachments. New questionnaire preview capabilities allow clients to test scoring algorithms before deploying surveys. Vendors can export questionnaires, complete them in Excel and import the completed questionnaire back to ProcessUnity. Customers can display and download all of the attachments from vendor questionnaire responses from a single page.

“The common theme for our Summer 2016 Release is flexibility. The enhancements allow business users to configure our solutions to work the way they want to work,” said Paul Carroll, Executive Vice President of Product and Engineering. “The SLA tracking features and Customer-Defined Subject Areas are powerful new capabilities that allow customers to assess performance of critical entities and further extend our solutions to fulfill unique program requirements. The Word Connector gives our clients even more options for sharing results with key stakeholders and regulators.”
